Girl Kit Distribution
For many school-age girls in Uganda, starting their menstrual cycle marks a major milestone—but poverty often turns this rite of passage into a barrier. Without access to essential menstrual products, girls may face stigma, miss school, or even drop out.
Love Thy Neighbor-Uganda believes every girl deserves dignity and the opportunity to reach her full potential. That’s why we’re providing "Girl Kits"—each including reusable pads, underwear, and soap—for just $6 USD per kit.

Mama & Baby Kit Distribution
Uganda faces a significant maternal mortality burden, with thousands of women and newborns succumbing to preventable complications annually. Key factors contributing to this issue include home births without skilled attendants, inadequate trained healthcare personnel, under-resourced facilities, insufficient ambulance services, mistreatment, and limited health literacy. Therefore, Mama Kits are crucial for expectant mothers, providing essential childbirth supplies such as sterile gloves, plastic sheets, and soap. Recently, we have been able to provide several expectant Ugnadan mothers Mama & aby Kits.
